Category: I’ve finally arrived in my hotel room at the Jumeirah Emirates Tower, 21 hours after I started the journey at the Philadelphia airport. Of course, this wasn’t all flight time, but to put it in perspective how long the flight is (beyond just the raw number)…since arriving at the Philly airport:
- Two flights
- Eaten 3 meals, and had two beers and an appetizer at Dulles
- Read Predictably Irrational from cover to cover
- Read Financial Times front-to-back
- Various bouts of sleeping
- Watched 7 episodes of Entourage
The actual flight time, DC to Dubai? 0:51 on my watch chronograph. The watch only aggregates up to 12 hours, then starts over.
I’m ready to pass out. Good timing…it’s 9:45 p.m. here, 3 hours and a day later since my first plane left Philadelphia.
