London, all to myself!

I woke up at around 5:15 a.m. got dressed and went downstairs hoping to find a large group of fellow CC’ers getting ready for our early morning run. There was no one there, not even the front desk people. At first I thought, some thing has got to be wrong here, but then it struck me; It’s 5:20 a.m. on a Saturday morning in London. Who in their right mind would be up at this time? (rhetorical question). So I decided to go for the run alone, and I was glad I did. I had the entire city of London to myself! I saw all of about 7 people in my 45 minute run. I crossed the Tower Bridge, passed a weird semi-hemispherical building, HMS Belfast and the South Wark Cathedral. One the return trip I ran by Kaplan law college with a modern art-ified spartan warrior guarding it’s northern tip, two weird looking large black balls behind the semi hemispherical building and the dead man’s hole. All in all, I can’t think of a better way to start what should be a very exciting day! I will probably take some picture when I go for the run tomorrow. *note to self & others: don’t ask the concierge questions at 6:30 a.m. he is probably not a morning person.

Yeah, today's session was fun. Specially when we found our you were their favorite student :)

Ha! Not surprised that you didn't find any takers for the early run. You're probably one of the few who went in the "other" direction in terms of time zones; for me, 5 am was 12 a.m. EDT. I was barely ready to get to sleep!

See you in a little bit (yes, 9 a.m. today, not 7 a.m. like I said in my post.)
